The State of Kansas requires 12 classroom hours of continuing education every 2 years to renew your Master, Journeyman or Residential Wireman license or certificate.

The City of Manhattan went to a 2-year renewal cycle on certificates and all certificates expire December 31st of each odd-number year. When, we as contractors renew our certificate, we have to provide information on the class(es) we attended to show 12 hours of education.

Classes involve but are not limited to, electrical code classes, safety training or classes to directly benefit the electricians in the field with their day-to-day work.
